UP 7DSP is the most powerful MATCH DSP amplifier and includes our new ADEP.3 circuit. It offers seven channels of amplifiers in total and an additional preamplifier output, which allows - in combination with its integrated 8-channel DSP - to perfectly guide individual and complex speaker configurations. Two of the output channels provide 160 Watts RMS at 2 Ohms, enough to power even large subwoofers.

But brute force is nothing without "intelligent control" - that why UP 7DSP incorporates a powerful, latest-generation 64-bit DSP, which allows for revolutionary and proprietary audio features such as "enhanced bass processing", "StageXpander "or the" RealCenter "function. But that not enough: listen to music from your smartphone with unprecedented quality. UP 7DSP has a MCH (MATCH Extension Card) slot for additional input and output interfaces such as our Bluetooth ® Audio Streaming module or a high resolution USB sound card.

Thanks to our professional and user-friendly V4 PC-Tool DSP software, the configuration and configuration of UP 7DSP are quite simple and intuitive.

Special features

HD class technology

UP 7DSP combines the advantages of a class H technology with the principle of a class D amplifier. The result is unsurpassed efficiency that easily surpasses any conventional Class D amplifier. By varying the internal supply voltage based on the amplitude of the amplifier of input signals, unused losses are significantly reduced and overall efficiency is close to the maximum at any time.

Smart Highlevel ADEP.3 input

The modern factory-installed car radios incorporate sophisticated diagnostic possibilities for the connected speakers. In particular, the latest generation of car radios is equipped with additional monitoring functions so that error messages and the loss of specific characteristics (for example the fader function) appear very often if an amplifier is connected, but not with UP 7DSP. The new ADEP.3 circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection, 3rd Generation) avoids all these problems without loading the OE radio speaker outputs in case of unnecessary high volumes.

Start-Stop functionality

The switched power supply of MATCH UP 7DSP ensures a constant internal power supply voltage even if the battery voltage drops to 6 Volts during the motor maneuver. If the supply voltage drops below 10.5 volts for more than five seconds, the amplifier switches to "Protection Mode" (the status LED lights up red) to avoid further discharges from the car battery.

Automatic detection of digital signals

The transition from the analog input to the digital input is performed automatically as soon as a signal is detected on the optical input. This function can be deactivated in the DSP PC-Tool software. Alternatively, an optional remote control can be used for manual switching between analogue and digital inputs.

Energy saving mode

Energy saving mode is incorporated into the basic setting. It allows to significantly reduce the energy consumption of UP 7DSP and potentially connected amplifiers once there is no input signal for more than 60 seconds. Note that in many cars updated with "CAN" or any other internal bus structure it can happen that the radio remains "invisibly" turned on for a maximum of 45 minutes. even after closing and leaving the car! Once "Power Save Mode" is active, the remote output and then the connected amplifiers will be turned off. MATCH UP 7DSP will reactivate the remote output within one second if a music signal is applied. The switch-off time can be changed by 60 sec. or completely deactivate the "Energy saving mode" via the DSP PC-Tool software.

DSP functionality

RealCenter

The "RealCenter" function is an algorithm, developed by Audiotec Fischer, which emphasizes the musical information present in the front left and right channel to create a single central signal. In contrast to the common procedures in which only the channels are summarized, the intensity of the central signal is also dynamically controlled by the stereophonic information content of the left and right channel. It sounds complicated but this effect is surprising: this means that if only the left or right channel delivers an audio signal, the central channel will not reproduce a signal. In the case of common algorithms, the volume level of the central channel is reduced only by 6 dB (= half volume level). The "RealCenter" of Audiotec Fischer allows a unique and expanded sound staging for pilot and copilot at the same time! Therefore, the disadvantages of a conventional central channel as a small intrusive sound stage are things of the past.

Increased bass processing The processor

"Augmented Bass Processing" by Audiotec Fischer, consisting of the two revolutionary audio features "Dynamic Bass Enhancement" and "SubXpander", has been specially developed to greatly improve bass reproduction of subwoofers. "Dynamic Bass Enhancement" ingeniously combines maximum deep bass and maximum sound pressure, regardless of musical style or tone controls in the main unit. Depending on the input signal, "Dynamic Bass Enhancement" gains the lowest frequency range and varies the cutoff frequency of the subsonic filter. The result is a significantly more powerful and deeper bass response at low and medium volume levels without the risk of overloading the subwoofer, neither mechanically nor electrically at high volume levels. It is simply fascinating that bass performance is suddenly possible. If you want even lower and "darker" bass reproduction, you can activate "SubXpander" further. Therefore, subharmonic tones are added to the fundamental tones in the frequency range between 50 and 100 Hz.

StageXpander

Depending on the layout of the speakers in the vehicle, it is possible to create a more or less wide stereo stage on the front seats. A central speaker can further limit the spatial reproduction of music. This is where the new "StageXpander" from Audiotec Fischer comes into play, a sound feature that seems to break the acoustic limitations and therefore allows you to create a wider stereo system without negatively affecting the accuracy of the location of voices or instruments! The effect can be adjusted according to personal preferences in four steps.

ClarityXpander

Are you looking for more transparency and substance in the reproduction of highs? With "ClarityXpander" Audiotec Fischer now offers the right tool. Correctly adjusted (and therefore selectable in three steps), the function adds additional harmonics in the upper frequency range - this is particularly useful if the original speakers do not have a certain brilliance in the acute response. The extra triple stock is not only available for the two front channels, but is also separately adjustable for the central channel. Even better: the central channel allows automatic and dynamic control to be activated so that the music with high loads does not burden your hearing.
