Finally the new Ramm Audio power cable with 6 main conductors arrived, each composed of seven solid core PCOCC copper 0.5 mm in diameter, 4 of which individually insulated in polyethylene and 3 bare. This configuration is adopted to ensure that the greatest possible amount of air remains inside each beam (we refer you to the description of the Elite 30 for the reasons for this. The seven groups of conductors have an aluminum shield and are enclosed in a PVC sheath maintaining a perfect helix configuration (like DNA to understand) all together are then wrapped by an additional screen and a PVC sheath that also contains bundles of natural cotton to make everything as deaf as possible against resonances induced and simultaneously maintain the star configuration required by the project.

Always to maintain a perfect symmetry, a full polyethylene cylinder occupies the virtual space of the seventh bundle of conductors. We then have an external cable to the group and not insulated composed of three wires identical to the others called Drain in direct contact with the aluminum screen to be connected (eventually) together with the ground on the start side.

Externally a net sheath finishes the whole. The overall external diameter is 16 mm. Attention: this too, like all Ramm cables, is strictly directional, the manufacturer reiterates the importance of this peculiarity several times and recommends its absolute respect.

Finished version of the Amadeus 5. Length 1.5 meters terminated by the same Ramm, with a pair of high-performance schuko / iec with rhodium-plated contacts.
