The integration of auto-hifi components into existing OEM audio systems is becoming increasingly difficult, as today factory radios lack preamplified outputs or incorporate intelligent loudspeaker diagnostics. This is where the new Helix AAC.3 comes into play.

The smartest high-low converter in its class
Forget about error messages or loss of functionality (eg fader) - the ADEP3 integrated circuit cleverly "bypasses" the loudspeaker diagnosis in the factory radio. Distorted and increased THD sounds that can occur with conventional high-low converters are also avoided. The positive aspect is that ADEP.3 does not unnecessarily load the car radio amplifier and therefore reduces the current consumption up to 70%.

Intelligent signal detection
His "Double Activation Circuit" generates a remote +12 V signal to turn on the connected amplifiers in two different ways. Either it detects the DC offset on the speaker outputs of the OE car radio or uses an integrated and switchable signal detection with variable sensitivity.
Furthermore, the AAC.3 incorporates the "Energy-saving mode" of Audiotec Fischers, which deactivates the remote output if there is no musical signal for more than 2 minutes. This is really a great advantage as many cars with "CAN" or similar bus architectures keep the radio invisibly "alive" for up to 45 minutes. even if you have already left the car in the meantime.

High resolution ready
The AAC.3 generates a high quality preamp signal from the loudspeaker output signal of a radio or factory amplifier and thus allows the easy connection of additional power amplifiers. Its wide frequency response of 18 Hz up to 80,000 Hz ensures excellent sound quality and makes this high-low converter ready for high resolution audio playback.
