Connector Technical Characteristics
This is one of the few RCA connectors built entirely of this material. Opposite philosophy with respect to 30873 and 30890 of the same RAMM to meet those who prefer the last tendency of the single point of contact, like Bullet or Nextgen of WBT to be clear but at a price which, as Ramm tradition is a fraction of the competition.
Copper (99.5%) tellurium (0.5%) is an extraordinary alloy for this use. It practically maintains the same conductivity as copper but makes its mechanical processing much easier, so the stress of the metal is greatly reduced. It also has a crystalline nano structure, composed of copper telluride particles of minimal size and uniformly distributed, very close in appearance to the OFHC.
After processing it is completely deoxidized by the action of phosphorus and immediately coated with a thin layer of 24K Gold to prevent oxidation without altering its conductivity characteristics. The manufacturer of this connector is the same as the now famous cables that are having a phenomenal success. The maximum inlet diameter is 9mm, the standard is 75 ohm therefore also suitable for digital signals.
