So much power and sensitivity: the new P TWO thanks to its 2 x 490 Watt RMS output power on two Ohms, this compact amplifier is also able to drive the powerful subwoofers. It is designed to drive 2 x 2 Ohm double coil for all woofers like the new HELIX Q subwoofers.

But despite its brute strength, P TWO is by no means a pure subwoofer amplifier. In contrast, the Ultra HD Class D concept combines an extended frequency response greater than 40 kHz with high damping factor, minimal distortion and excellent signal to noise ratio. Therefore, this amplifier is likewise a perfect companion for heavy-duty front speakers in audiophile system concepts.

Ultra HD Class D amplifier technology

Compared to conventional Class D amplifiers, this concept achieves a frequency response extended to over 40 kHz in combination with reduced distortion thanks to an advanced integrated feedback design. Ultra HD Class D achieves exceptional "Class AB" sound quality combined with the efficiency of a Class D amplifier.

Signal converters with a native 32-bit resolution

HELIX P TWO uses a latest-generation DA signal converter with a native 32-bit resolution instead of the common 24-bit input for the optical input. The result is unprecedented accuracy in signal conversion that particularly optimizes sound quality at lower signal levels.

Smart Highlevel input

The latest generation of OE car radios incorporates sophisticated possibilities for diagnosing connected speakers. If a common amplifier is connected, error messages and the loss of specific characteristics (eg fader function) appear quite often - but not with the P TWO. The new ADEP circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection) avoids all these problems without loading the OE radio speaker outputs in case of unnecessary high volumes.

Start-Stop Functionality The HELIX P TWO switched power supply ensures operation even if the battery voltage drops to 6 Volts during the crank of the motor.
