HD-AUDIO USB-INTERFACE extends HELIX devices with a high-resolution USB audio input and converts a PC or smartphone into an HD-Audio player.

The direct transmission of the digital signal (without additional AD-DA conversion) from the music source to the DSP up to 192 kHz / 32 bit allows audio processing without data loss and thus ensures perfect sound quality.

Note: the HD-AUDIO USB INTERFACE has two operating modes: Full Speed Mode (default): Maximum compatibility with all Android, iOS, macOS and Windows devices. Supports sample rates up to 96 kHz / 32 bit. No driver installation is required. High speed mode: compatible with almost all Android devices (> Version 6), iOS, macOS and Windows. Supports sample rates up to 192 kHz / 32 bit. An additional driver installation for Windows devices is required to use sampling rates above 96 kHz / 32 bits.

Note: no connection cable included. A MiniUSB cable is required for most configurations. An additional MicroUSB OTG cable is required for Android devices. For Apple devices, an additional camera connection kit or Lightning to USB cable is required.

Warning: the HD-AUDIO USB INTERFACE does not support charging.
